Operation Red Nose - an annual campaign offering a free, volunteer-run designated driver service that operates each holiday season – provides patrons with a safe ride home in their own vehicles without them getting behind the wheel themselves.

Griffon Park, located in La Salle on the Upper Niagara River, commemorates the general location where French explorer Rene-Robert Cavalier, Sieur de La Salle, launched the first sailing ship, Le Griffon, to ply the upper Great Lakes.

Visitors can enjoy views of the Upper Niagara River, a boat launch and a playground.
